About Us

Established in 2013, Pedal bikes began with offering affordable recreational bikes. Today, our bikes continue to be dreamt up by a team of bike experts, all designed to ride great and look great. From cruiser bikes, kids bikes to electric bikes, we offer a wide range of bikes inclusive to all types of bike riding!

We offer functional bikes that do the job well, and still come in at the best price. Pedal bikes are for riders who don’t want to spend a lot of money to get riding, and won’t risk bad style or poor quality.

Our History

2007
99 Bikes’ founder Matt Turner opens the first 99 Bikes shop in Milton
2013
Pedal Bikes was created as 99 Bikes’ own brand. In mid 2013, the first shipment arrives in Australia!
2014
In late 2014 the “Pedal Heist” brand giveaway was created where customers follow clues to find bikes hidden all over Australia!
2016
Pedal launches kids bike range and they arrive just in time for Christmas!
2019
Pedal hits major milestone of selling over 50,000 units
2020
Pedal bikes land in New Zealand

Pedal launches electric bikes
2021

Exclusively sold at 99 Bikes. Being exclusive to 99 Bikes means that Pedal Bikes have access to 99 Club membership benefits including a free bike build, first free tune up and if you don’t love it, you have 30 days to swap it!

We care about you and your riding experience and that’s why our Pedal Bike frames are warranted for life* from manufacturing defects in materials and/or workmanship.

Most of our frames are warrantied for a maximum combined (weight of rider & any carried goods) weight of 100kgs. Some frames do vary, to be sure please check the indiviudal specifications.

*Lifetime is defined as up to 10 years.
